Tucciarello Announces Re-Election Campaign

Tuesday, July 19th, 2011

Monroe County Legislator Steve Tucciarello announced today his candidacy for re-election to the 4th Legislative District.  Steve was first elected to the Legislature in November of 2005.  Since that time, Steve has earned the respect of his colleagues who chose to elect him Deputy Majority Leader in 2010.

“I am proud to announce that I am seeking re-election to the Monroe County Legislature,” said Tucciarello. “I am proud to have partnered with County Executive Maggie Brooks to deliver stable property taxes and solid job creation and retention efforts that are moving our economy in the right direction.  With the support of my friends, neighbors and fellow residents in the Towns of Gates and Ogden, I will continue fighting to protect local taxpayers.”

In announcing the launch of his re-election campaign, Tucciarello outlined his experience as a small business owner and as a local employer as two qualifications that will continue to serve him well on the County Legislature.

“As a small business owner and County Legislator, I have met many residents and listened to their concerns about our challenging economy. With the support of Gates and Ogden voters, I will continue my goals of putting taxpayers first and creating jobs.”

Tucciarello also announced the launch of stevetucciarello.com, a state-of-the art new website that will serve as the online hub for his campaign. The new platform features the latest in online connectivity, including full social media integration. Residents are encouraged to visit the site to learn more about Tucciarello's experience, to volunteer to help the campaign, or to make a donation.
